Sailing Companion is a clean, focused iPhone and Apple Watch companion for sailing trips — GPS tracking with a glanceable at-the-helm cockpit (SOG, COG, heading, course-to-steer), simple waypoint navigation, a reliable background anchor alarm, and a digital logbook with photos and voice notes you can export as GPX, PDF, or a shareable video. It's built for cruisers, charterers, and day skippers who want a dependable, no-nonsense tool to record and relive their time on the water.

2 What it's not — and who it's not for

It is not a full electronic chartplotter or a replacement for proper marine navigation — no official vector sea charts, AIS, radar, or routing around hazards — so it's not for anyone expecting to navigate by phone alone or to retire their plotter, paper charts, and seamanship. Always cross-check with official charts and don't rely on it for safety-critical decisions.

3 The deal — free, offline, yours
